Through the Escape Society Foundation, we support concrete environmental and social initiatives in the regions where our journeys take place. The foundation exists to ensure that each project we develop is rooted in respect for local cultures, knowledge transmission, and long-term positive impact.
This commitment is not abstract. It is built on sustained relationships in the field and years of involvement alongside local communities, particularly in Nepal, where projects have been developed and supported over time through initiatives led on the ground by Kilian Bron.
The Altaï Endowment Fund accompanies Escape Society in giving structure and continuity to its commitments in the field. It allows our engagement to extend beyond individual journeys, supporting initiatives that take root over time and grow alongside the communities involved.

In 2026 and beyond, Escape Society has chosen to operate in Nepal. All funds generated through the foundation are fully allocated to locally led initiatives, with additional support from Commencal Bikes, our mountain bike partner. This focus reflects both the depth of our presence in the region and our belief that meaningful impact comes from continuity.

In Kathmandu, we support 15 children enrolled at Tika Vidyashram School, by financing their education and ensuring long-term educational follow-up. This commitment also includes providing access to bicycles in partnership with Epic Rides Nepal, promoting mobility, independence, and personal development.
We also continue our educational support in Arun, in continuity with the commitments made during the production of the Mandala documentary.
Alongside these initiatives, the foundation supports the development of local cycling by accompanying young Nepalese athletes in pursuing their sporting projects. Three riders, Bikas Prakhin, Pushkar Regmi, and Rabit Kunwar, receive financial support for travel, competition participation, and long-term progression.
In the same spirit of responsible tourism, Escape Society also invests in equipping local guides, financing mountain bike equipment and appropriate gear to improve safety, enhance the quality of guided trips, and strengthen the local economy in a sustainable way.
At Escape Society, commitment is never imposed. Travelers are free to engage, or not, with the projects supported by the foundation, in a spontaneous and voluntary manner. There is no obligation, only the opportunity for those who wish to contribute or get involved in their own way.
Initiatives and proposals are discussed directly with Kilian Bron, the originator of the project and the guarantor of its vision. This direct relationship fosters a human, transparent, and sincere approach, creating a strong connection between travelers, supported projects, and on-the-ground realities.
